I recently stayed up way past my normal bedtime trying to nail down some AI-generated artwork. My wife liked the first two pieces I came up with. When I texted a draft of the third piece to her, she looked across the room at me and said, “That looks like it’s a cult symbol!”
Needless to say, I took it back to the virtual drawing board and tried again.
Lately, I’ve been giving myself more permission to explore art, and here’s why: art is the reflection of life. Art is the inspiration for systems and structure.
Where I come from, having a functional, working business was enough. It was never enough for me. I wanted to help build businesses that were elegantly designed. Not just functional. But beautiful. People in their zone of genius. Things working like clockwork. Customers who feel delighted by the experience.
It’s not everyone’s goal. But it’s mine. And that of most of the people I work with.
